I began coaching over 15 years ago with one clear mission: to help people build confidence. I wasn’t always the most athletic, the most confident, or even the most motivated when it came to fitness—but I experienced firsthand how consistent movement could transform not just my body, but my mindset. That feeling changed my life, and I’ve made it my goal ever since to help others experience the same.

What I love most about CrossFit Liberate is that it’s a place where we show up as we are—weaknesses, insecurities, and all—and still feel celebrated. Regardless of how you may feel when you walk into this gym, the community lifts you up and always seems to give you a reason to keep going. Delivering that feeling daily is what keeps me going.

Turning Point

When I started CrossFit, I was nearly 50 pounds heavier and in the midst of a tough season of depression. I’ve struggled with confidence and body image for most of my life, and at that point, I felt more disconnected from myself than ever. As someone who’s always identified as an athlete, the physical, emotional, and mental toll of the pandemic hit hard.

I walked into CrossFit Liberate simply hoping to look better—but after just one session, I felt better than I had in years. The community welcomed me with open arms, the coaches genuinely cared, and the energy was contagious. From that moment on, I knew this is where I was meant to be.

Motivation & Passion

My two biggest missions in the fitness space is to lead the fight against childhood obesity and to bridge the gap for those who’ve been left out of the conversation—whether due to mental, physical, emotional, or financial barriers. I believe that everyone deserves access to the life-changing benefits of movement, especially those who’ve been told it’s not for them.

Too often, the populations who need fitness the most—kids struggling with confidence, families facing hardships, individuals who feel overlooked—are pushed to the back burner. I want to change that. I strive to bring fitness, fun, and a sense of belonging to the people who need it most.

My ultimate dream is to create a world-renowned CrossFit Kids program right here at this amazing gym—a space where kids can feel strong, seen, and unstoppable from an early age.
